Stars and Stripes Showdown
The Stars and Stripes Showdown is a Game Changer 3v3 tournament that will be held on November 11, 2025 (Veterans Day). All teams will be guaranteed 3 games and the top two teams in each division will play in a championship game. This 3v3 tournament is open to Mites, Squirts, and Peewees.
Divisions
Mites: 6/1/2016 - 5/31/2018
Squirts: 6/1/2014 - 5/31/2016
Peewees: 6/1/2012 - 5/31/2014
When
Date- November 11, 2025
Time- 7:45 am - 3:50 pm
Coaches
Every team needs to have at least one designated coach.
During the registration process you will be asked to give the name of your player's team coach.
Teams
Players are required to register as a part of a team. Your player's team will need to decide on a team name before registration
Each team will need to have a roster size of 6-8 players.
During the registration process you will be asked to give the name of your player's team.
Please be sure that all players give the same team name.
Player Gift
Each player will receive a player gift at the tournament.
The champions from each division will receive a championship prize.
Games
Each team will be guaranteed 3 games. The top two teams from each division will play in a championship game.
Jerseys
Each player will be given a solid color jersey before their first game.
Jerseys need to be returned after every player's last game.

Does my player have to register as part of a team?
Yes, we require that each player registering already be on a team's roster.
Who can register for this tournament?
This tournament is open to Mites, Peewees, and Squirts from Grand Forks and surrounding areas.
Please note: Not all players on a team roster need to belong to the same youth hockey association. You are welcome to create a team roster filled with players from different areas.
