Stars and Stripes Shootout 3v3

The Stars and Stripes Showdown is a Game Changer 3v3 tournament that will be held on November 11, 2025 (Veterans Day). All teams will be guaranteed 3 games and the top two teams in each division will play in a championship game. This 3v3 tournament is open to Mites, Squirts, and Peewees.

Squirts: 6/1/2014 - 5/31/2016

Peewees: 6/1/2012 - 5/31/2014

Coaches

Every team needs to have at least one designated coach.

During the registration process you will be asked to give the name of your player's team coach.

Teams

Each team can have a roster size of 8 players maximum.

During the registration process you will be asked to give the name of your team.

Games

Each team will be guaranteed 3 games. The top two teams from each division will play in a championship game.

Jerseys

Each player will be given a solid color jersey before their first game.

Jerseys need to be returned after every player's last game.

Liability Waiver

Once a team is registered, the email address associated with that team will receive the official liability waiver. A completed waiver is required for every player and must be submitted prior to the team’s first game.

Players may either:

Bring a printed, signed copy of their waiver on the morning of the tournament, or
Submit a signed PDF copy via email to tournaments@gfyha.com.

Players without signed waivers will not be permitted to play in the tournament.

Who can register for this tournament?

This tournament is open to Mites, Peewees, and Squirts from Grand Forks and surrounding areas.

Please note: Not all players on a team roster need to belong to the same youth hockey association. You are welcome to create a team roster filled with players from different areas.

Stars and Stripes Shootout 3v3

This 3v3 tournament will be held on November 11, 2025 (Veterans Day). There is a 3-game guarantee for each team and a championship game for the top two teams in each division. Games will begin as early as 7:45 am. Please be sure to watch your email on the days leading up to the tournament, as we will email out the game schedule the week prior.

This tournament will have three divisions, Mites/8U, and Squirts/10U, and Peewees/12U. Each division will be made up of a maximum of 6 teams (depending on registration numbers). Each team can have up to 8 players on their roster.
